WISPGate respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with applicable law.
A notice of claimed infringement should include sufficient detail to identify the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, the location of that material, the complaining party’s contact information, a good-faith statement, and a statement made under penalty of perjury where required by law. Notices should be sent to dmca@wispgate.us.
Upon receipt of a facially valid notice, WISPGate may remove content, disable access, restrict accounts, preserve evidence, or take any other action it considers appropriate to mitigate legal exposure.
Where applicable law permits, an affected party may submit a compliant counter-notice. WISPGate may forward such counter-notice to the complaining party and act according to applicable law.
WISPGate reserves the right to suspend or terminate repeat infringers or accounts associated with repeated infringement claims, especially where the pattern creates legal or reputational risk.
WISPGate may remove or disable access in circumstances that do not strictly require action under statute where it believes such action is necessary to reduce legal or operational risk.
